Metropolitan Stadium
This stadium was located in Bloomington, Minnesota, built in a corn field area. It was considered predominantly a hitters park, with later adjusted dimensions. The longest homerun ever hit at this ballpark was by Harmon Killebrew on June 3rd, 1967, estimated at 520 feet. The stadium had World Series matchups in the mid 1960’s. Like many sports venues of its time, it adapted to pro football as well as baseball.
