Kingdome
This indoor multi-purpose stadium was located on the southern edge of downtown Seattle. Constructed in 1976, the Mariners opened their tenancy in 1977. It was hitter friendly and seemed to have odd bounces that caromed during games. Through later years of its life span, a large right field wall was a target for Hall of Famer, Ken Griffey Jr. It had the distinction of hosting the highest professional level of four major pro sports – baseball, football, basketball, & soccer.
