Miami Stadium
This modest capacity ballpark (13,000) northwest of downtown Miami was built with new amenities for its time, such as no post obstructions. It was home to Minor League teams, including the Miami Sun Sox. MLB teams used it for spring training, starting with the Dodgers in the 50’s, and they held a first game representing LA there, in 1958. The Orioles played spring training games in the stadium from 1959 to 1990. It hosted the 1991 Caribbean Series, with past & newly rising MLB players.
