Shea Stadium
The stadium was located in one of the five boroughs of New York City, Queens, alongside an area from the 1964 World’s Fair. With large capacity, it hosted baseball, football, boxing, & concerts. When the Mets won the 1969 World Series, fans mobbed the field and trampled the grass turf. It had unenclosed circular configuration and a large scoreboard beyond right field. Homeruns sometimes hit the board. In its last season, a replacement ballpark emerged behind the outfield.
